Team N.S. brings home 10 medals

After weeks of training, Team Nova Scotia has come away from the Skills Canada National Competition with a total of 10 medals.



Represented by 867 students in 37 competition areas, Team Nova Scotia won two bronze, three silver and five gold medals.  Medalists were from graphic design, TV and video production, culinary, aerospace technology, sprinkler systems, and job search demonstration.

Winners received their medals at the closing ceremony on June 8 in Moncton.  Congratulations to Team Nova Scotia!

Meagan Brown and Levi Marshall (Halifax) - Gold, TV and Video Production

Zoe Bartel (Halifax) - Gold, Baking
Kristin Moen (Halifax) - Gold, Baking
Lucas Hum (Coldbrook) - Bronze, Cooking
Kyla Welton (Enfield) - Gold, Cooking
Steven Vanderkooy (Belnan) - Silver, Aerospace Technology
